Looking back: Our software’s story starts 10 years ago. There were three of us and we were looking for office software for our newly founded company. We couldn’t find anything to meet our needs so we built our own, used it for ourselves for several years and told clients and acquaintances about it.
At the end of 2013 we started our own company with the goal of developing our software more professionally. Back then we called ourselves easySYS. Today we are the leading provider of web-based business software for small enterprises and go by the name of bexio. Since the company was founded, our client numbers and employee headcount have been doubling at a rapid pace. bexio currently has over 8000 clients and more than 50 employees.
In September 2016 bexio won the award for "Switzerland's best software startup" – considering all start-ups we ranked seventh. Experts choose the most innovative and promising startups from over 100.000 recently founded companies.
