And especially worth mentioning is the base of fiduciaries who work with bexio! We have around 1'300 trustees from all over Switzerland who support bexio customers with their bookkeeping - looking for new opportunities to grow their business!

What languages do bexio customers speak?

The majority of our customer base uses our software in German. At the same time, it is important to us that customers from other linguistic regions of Switzerland can benefit from our software solutions. That’s why bexio is fully available in German, French, Italian, and English. Over the past few years, this has allowed us to steadily grow in other linguistic regions, with particularly strong growth in the French part of Switzerland.

Since bexio is specifically tailored to the needs of Swiss companies and their accounting and legal requirements, it is used exclusively in Switzerland. Exceptions include companies operating in Switzerland but managed from neighboring countries.

How many employees work in a company that uses bexio?

bexio’s customer base primarily consists of micro-enterprises, mainly sole proprietorships and small SMEs with 1–3 or 4–9 employees. Companies with more than 10 employees represent only a small portion of the total.

  • It is particularly effective to connect to heavily used modules such as the sales, invoicing, or accounting modules, as these are intensively utilized by a large portion of users. Our payroll module is also seeing increasing usage since the release of the corresponding API interface.
  • Solutions targeting universal business needs are easier to promote and quickly attract a broad user base compared to specialized niche products.
