Can I do my own payroll accounting?
You can do payroll accounting and accounting work yourself. With the right software like bexio, this isn't a problem. However, you can also have all the work done by a trustee or use it for security only for certain areas. For example, enquiries or discussions with the tax authorities can be minimised.
With bexio, you have the option of granting your trustee access to your accounting. On request, you can easily give your trustee online access. This makes cooperation with the trustee not only easier, but also much more efficient.
What is the electronic payroll reporting procedure and how does it work?
With the electronic payroll reporting procedure, you can save a lot of time when delivering mandatory data to the AHV, your accident insurance, the withholding tax authority, etc.
Swissdec-certified payroll programs such as bexio can independently prepare data for various recipients.
You enter the data received from the recipients into the bexio payroll accounting system once. After the last payroll run before data delivery, you can select the recipients you want with a click and transmit the data.
After transmitting the data, you will always receive a "receipt" with the result of the documents sent. These are checked by the insurance company and either accepted or rejected. Correspondingly, corrections can also be made and transmitted again for data already transmitted.
